About the Institute for Ecstatic Living
The Institute for Ecstatic Living:Tantra Workshops & Vacations
The Institute for Ecstatic Living was founded in 1999 by Steve and Lokita Carter, pioneers in Ecstatic Living and Tantra teachers who have taught thousands of people art of SkyDancing Tantra, ecstatic living and ecstatic loving.
Based just north of the Napa Valley Wine Country in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Institute’s mission is to -
- • promote ecstatic living and the tantric lifestyle;
- • expand our awareness for acceptance, love and appreciation of who we and those around us truly are;
- • make the many facets of Ecstatic Living and Tantra available to everyone;
- • help make the world a better place.

We facilitate this mission by:
- • sharing our Tantra experience in our workshops and events at beautiful retreat centers all over the Americas;
- • taking groups on delicious Tantra Vacations to Costa Rica & Mexico;
- • coaching couples and singles in the tranquil and relaxing setting of Amrita Springs, our 47 acres of paradise 2 hrs north of San Francisco, and also in Playa Montezuma, Costa Rica;
- • promoting workshops with other facilitators we consider influential and important in their field, such as Margot Anand;
- • promoting workshops that are pertinent to living and loving more ecstatically.

by the Californian Board for Behavioral Sciences (BBS) for Marriage & Family
