Steve & Lokita Carter
Steve and Lokita Carter, have dedicated their lives and marriage to ecstatic living and sharing their understanding and experience of Tantra. Since they began teaching in early 1999, they have delivered hundreds of workshops and Tantra Vacations, and have been enriching and inspiring the lives of over 10,000 people from all walks of life.
Steve & Lokita are certified SkyDancing Tantra teachers who are empowered by Margot Anand through her year-long Facilitators Training and many years of practicing and living her wonderful tantric practices. They are currently the only SkyDancing Teachers authorized to teach her world renowned Love & Ecstasy Training in the USA, and regularly appear at her events as guest presenters.
They delight in sharing with each other and through their workshops what they have learned over many years of ecstatic living and the tantric lifestyle as a married couple. When they joined together their love and variety of talents, they emerged as a powerful, fun, dynamic and loving teaching team.
Steve & Lokita are the producers the best-selling Tantra DVDs Tantric Massage for Lovers, The Breath of Tantric Love, Tantric Yoga for Lovers, and Chakra Wisdom: An Active Meditation for Insight, Clarity & Transformation. They have appeared on radio and TV stations across the United States and most recently on Discovery Channel.
Their workshops and the Institute for Ecstatic Living are the result of who they are as a couple and as professionals.
Other Tantra Education
Since 1982, Steve & Lokita have participated in countless Tantra trainings and seminars, and continue their study and practice of Tantra. They are inspired by the teachings of Margot Anand, Osho, Barry Long, Chogyam Trungpa and Alan Lowen, among others.
Lokita Carter
Since her late teens Lokita has devoted her life to personal and spiritual growth, Tantra and meditation. Having spent many years in Germany, India and Australia before settling in the United States has enriched Lokita's life with a broad perspective of different cultures, societies and attitudes, and given her a deep appreciation for the human being in all its countless facets. Her favorite activities are ecstatic dancing, spending quality time with Steve, her friends and loved ones, reading, creating tile mosaic art, studying Spanish, and being in nature with their two corgies Fifi and Mistie. She enjoys each moment and every connection with another as an ecstatic expression of the divine.
Lokita is appreciated as a committed and inspired woman and teacher whose compassion and clarity touches the heart, nourishes the mind and celebrates the body. She is also an accomplished aquatic bodyworker, massage practitioner, rebirthing therapist, published writer, accounting software specialist and computer consultant. See Lokita's blog entries here.
Steve Carter
Steve draws from his open heart to help others integrate mind, body and spirit. He combines his extensive training and experience in Tantra, massage therapy, Watsu, group and emotional healing work and group facilitation with a respectful, playful and loving approach to teaching.
Participants and students laud Steve as a wonderful teacher whose sense of humor, playfulness and understanding of life brings lightheartedness and depth to his events.
Steve is also a certified Watsu and massage teacher and has developed innovative bodywork techniques for therapists that he teaches internationally.
