Shipping & Merchandise Returns
Delivery
Merchandise will be shipped when the order is paid in full.
Orders usually are processed within 24 hours on business days. For example, orders placed on Mondays will be processed and shipped on Tuesdays. Orders placed on Fridays and weekends are usually processed and shipped on Mondays.
If paying by check, your order will be shipped in 7-10 business days after we deposit the check. Orders paid with money order will be shipped within 48 hours.
Note that the delivery date depends on the chosen shipping method.
Shipping Costs
Costs depend on the shipping method you choose. Shipping rates for items are weight-based. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights are rounded up to the next full pound.
International Orders -Customs & Duties
Due to negative experiences with customs in certain countries, we only ship to the following destinations outside the USA. If you would like you order delivered to a country not on the list, please contact us:

Shipments outside the USA may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be.
It may take up to 28 days to receive your items. Once the order has left our warehouse we relinquish our control. If you chose a shipping method without delivery confirmation or tracking option, we are unable to track it.
Risk of Loss
Items purchased from the Institute for Ecstatic Living are made pursuant to a delivery contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for such items pass to you upon our delivery to the carrier.
Merchandise Returns
We accept returns for refunds only of defective items. Products must be returned within 14 days after shipment. Once the order has shipped from our warehouse it is final. We cannot resell items that have been previously viewed. Upon return, the defective items will be replaced with the same item. We will pay the relevant fees incurred in the return.

Sending Returns
For your protection, we recommend that you ship your return with insurance, available from USPS, which will enable you to make a claim should the goods be lost or delayed in the mail. The Institute for Ecstatic Living will not accept responsibility for any goods until we receive them.
