Scholarship Assistance – because we care!
The Ecstatic Living Scholarship Fund was provides support to those who require financial assistance to participate in a seminar offered by the Institute for Ecstatic Living. To help us share the SkyDancing Tantra vision with as many people as possible, alumni and those who care to help others explore the path of Tantra contribute to this fund. In addition, the Institute for Ecstatic Living contributes to the scholarship fund, in 2011 the equivalent of 10% of its gross profits. Also, many of those who benefited from the Ecstatic Living Scholarship Fund ended up “paying it forward” (as was done for them).

What does a Scholarship cover?
The Ecstatic Living Scholarship Fund covers a portion of the tuition (not including meals and lodging). The Scholarship Committee considers only one scholarship application per person, per year. All scholarship recipients are responsible for paying the balance of tuition, plus meals and lodging to the Institute for Ecstatic Living.

What will we ask of Scholarship Recipients?
We may ask for help from our scholarship recipients in three ways:

1. To spread the word about the seminar you are attending, you will receive an electronic flyer or website link, and we ask that you share it with your friends, colleagues and networks.
2. During the seminar, we may request your assistance with a few small tasks to facilitate the smooth running of the seminar. We will give you a list of ways you can help when you arrive at the seminar.
3. After the seminar, we may invite you to provide us with a testimonial  about how the scholarship has effected you.

Seminars eligible for Scholarship Support
Almost all of our seminars are eligible for scholarship support, except evening events, Tropical Tantra Vacations, events held at Omega Institute, and events held at the Open Center NY. (For scholarship programs provided by these organizations, please visit their websites.)

Registration & Deposits for Scholarship Applicants
Since scholarship funds are limited and we accept only a small number of participants on a scholarship per event, we highly recommend that you register and apply for a scholarship early to help your chance of receiving financial support. We accept applications up to 21 days before the desired seminar.

Before applying for a scholarship, you must register for your selected seminar with a deposit ($195 – $200 after 7/1/12 – for a weekend, $575 for a weeklong event) by phoning our registration office at 707-987-3456 (or toll-free 877-982-6872). When you register, please mention that you are applying for a scholarship.

If the Scholarship Committee is unable to offer you a scholarship, or if you decline the scholarship offer, we will refund your registration deposit in full. Once your scholarship is confirmed, your payment terms are the same as specified in our standard cancellation policy.

When will you hear from us?
Our Scholarship Committee meets regularly to review applications.  Usually, applicants will know at least two weeks before their chosen event if we are able to offer scholarship assistance.

We email a confirmation of receipt for every application received. However, spam filters and other technical reasons may result in you not receiving the auto receipt. Scholarships are administered by our sister organization, SpiritWorks Church, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit organization dedicated to global transformation through sacred relationships.  All scholarship contributions are fully tax-deductible.
