Steve & Lokita Carter
Founders of the Ecstatic Living Institute

Steve & Lokita Carter founded the Ecstatic Living Institute in 1999 and for the next 15 years were the most successful and consistent Tantra teaching couple in the USA, dedicating their lives and marriage to ecstatic living and sharing their understanding and experience of Tantra. Through their teachings, they enriched and inspired the lives of many thousands of people from all walks of life in hundreds of workshops, events and tropical Tantra vacation retreats.

Steve and Lokita were the official lineage holders of Margot Anand’s SkyDancing Tantra teachings in North America and were authorized to teach Margot Anand’s world-renowned Love & Ecstasy Training (LET). In late 2014, Steve and Lokita entrusted certified SkyDancing Tantra teachers Cassidy Geppert & Mika Smith to teach the LET in the USA.

Steve Carter passed away on October 5, 2015. Steve & Lokita’s love for Tantra and their contribution together to the Tantra culture in the USA and beyond will be sorely missed. Steve would often ask, “How much more can you love?” In Steve Carter’s honor, let us all love more and more every day. “Steve & Lokita’s teaching was excellent. The combination of both their energies together is a great example of the sum of the parts being greater than the whole. Their years of experience is also very obvious and extremely valuable in letting me know I was safe. Their humor was very funny and kept everything real!”
